Materials

Stool Carcass

All stools except MS403 and MS404 are supplied flat packed.

All stools are made in hardwood and are manufactured at our factory in Bodiam (except Polygloss stools which are imported from Italy). Stools can be stained to any of the 16 colours shown in the catalogue unless otherwise stated. (please note: The imported stools are only available in a small range of wood colours - see catalogue for further details).

The standard wood finish is satin. Gloss finish is available for a small extra charge - see price list under each item.

Note: The wood colours shown throughout the catalogue are as true as possible within the colour printing process but please allow for minor variations.

We also offer a colour matching sendce - please ask for a quotation.

Stools can be provided 'in the white' -unpolished, sanded ready for polishing by the customer.

Seat

Seats can be provided for all stools in any of tlle fabrics shown in the catalogue, except for the MS20l Concert Stool which has leather upholstery in six colours as shown in the catalogue. The range includes 17 plain dralons, 5 patterned dralons, 6 chenilles, 3 vinyls and 3 leather colours. All materials used meet current British Standard fire regulations. Prices shown are for plain dralons or vinyls. Patterned dralons, chenilles and leathers are charged separately.

Note: The colours shown in the catalogue are as true as possible to the fabrics but please allow for minor variations. From time to time, fabrics are discontinued or changed by the manufacturer. Where this occurs, we will use the nearest possible equivalent colour.

We can fit your own fabric to any seat for a small extra charge. For fabric sizes required, please see dimensions listed against the relevant stool in the price list and add a minimum of 20cm to each dimension - a larger allowance may be needed for big patterns or where a particular pattern needs to be centred. Some fabrics are reversible or very similar on both sides. If there is likely to be any doubt, please mark the side of the fabric to be shown as the 'right side' with a small label and include any other inforn'lation which may be relevant. This will help to avoid costly errors. Any unused fabric will be returned with tlle stool.

We Can provide seats covered in calico only, ready for upholstery by the customer. Price as for plain dralon.

Dimensions

Stool dimensions are shown in the catalogue. Standard box stool height is 51cm (20ins) Standard adjustable height range (to top of seat) is 50.5cm to 58.5cm (19.75 to 23 ins) unless otherwise stated.

Organ box stool height is 58cm (22.75ins)

Some leg lengths can be adjusted as detailed below. There is a small extra charge for this service - see price list.

Square legs: These can be made longer or shorter

Tapered and Regency Legs: These can be made shorter only.

Cabriole and Chippendale Legs: These cannot be varied from those shown.
